Preschool & Kindergarten
Sonshine Preschool & Kindergarten opened their doors over 30 years ago to provide a safe and loving environment where the principles and values of the Bible are taught. Your child will have learning experiences that enhance their physical, spiritual, emotional, cognitive, and social development.
- For physical development your child will enjoy hands on experiences and activities which will challenge their small and large muscle coordination. Our program provides appropriate and well-maintained indoor and outdoor physical activities.
- Spiritually we teach your child about God through Bible stories, songs, and Bible memory verses. It is our desire that they know God and they learn to communicate with Him through prayers and worship. We invite you to our chapel on Thursday mornings at 9:00 AM.
- Emotionally your child will develop a positive self-image through successful experiences and positive reinforcement. They will be encouraged to express themselves in healthy ways and develop problem solving skills.
- Cognitively your child will engage in experiences that develop cognitive and physical skills through play, activities using manipulative and age appropriate activities for language, reading, and math readiness.
- Creative expression through art, play, music, dance, and movement is encouraged. Your child will have the opportunity to be creative, to explore their environment, and to have hands on experiences.
